Stack Performance Speaks at Huntington Beach HS
In early January, we received a call inviting us to speak to a class of students at Huntington Beach High School. We did not hesitate to accept this invitation giving us an opportunity to give to our community and help the early growth of a gifted group of high school students. We were honored to have been given this opportunity and more-so, excited to hear of the school’s offering of automotive based C.A.D. classes.
Joining Ryan in his presentation was Stack’s C.A.D. Designer, Jonathan Clingenpeel. Jonathan has 10+ years of C.A.D. experience. Jonathan shared his path of decisions in which landed him a job with Stack Performance. In this presentation, Ryan spoke of how he chose his career path and what lead him down that path. He also spoke about many of his designs, parts, and the reasons for developing such parts. Sharing interests with such an interested and talented group of students was very inspiring for Ryan and Jonathan.
In Ryan’s company was a small group of Dodge Challengers and members from the ever-growing SoCal Challengers. SCC Members Jeff Lowe, Jeff Garber, James Schaap, Mellow Sawyer, and Mike Barry really enjoy driving their vehicles, and more-so have dedicated much of their personal time to support local charities, car shows and the youth of today. Follow them at SoCalChallengers.net.
Stack Performance will be hosting a quarter long competition for the students enrolled in this course. The winner of the competition will be announced on StackPerformance.com along with a write up and picture. This student will also be designing a production part that will be sold on SP’s website.
