Stack Performance Bullet Cold Air Intake

Stack Performance has done it again with the release of their new ”Bullet” Fresh Air Intake system. The TRUE cold air intake system! We have taken time to design our cold air intake system to perform to “our” standards. Our intake system is designed to draw actual cold air from a source outside of the hot engine bay.

Cold air provides more oxygen for the engine to burn. Cooler air has a higher density (greater mass per unit volume), thus cold air intakes generally perform by introducing cooler air from a point outside of the hot engine bay.

The term “cold air intake” is often used to describe other methods of increasing oxygen to an engine, which may even increase the temperature of the air coming into an engine. The true name for these intakes is “Ram Air Intake”. Do not be fooled. In designing and engineering our cold air intake system, we have used these strategies to obtain our required level of performance:

Stack Performance Bullet Cold Air Intake
  • Increased the diameter of the air intake, providing increased airflow.
  • Smooth interior of the intake tube, reducing air resistance.
  • Engineered tube shape to offer a more direct route to the intake manifold.
  • Tuned the length of the intake tube to provide maximum airflow at certain engine speeds and RPMs.
  • A more efficient, hi-flow air filter with open end element.
  • Cold air provides more oxygen for the engine to burn.

Our tube uses 3.50″ inlet, then gradually increases to 4.18″, (just over 90mm) then kicks to 4.00″ at the throttle body. This design increases velocity, which increases HP/TQ and throttle response.

This system is plug and play.
